Yet another Brooklyn native will return to NYC’s “it” borough of the moment for a series of homecoming shows. Fabolous has announced he’ll tour for three days as part – or all – of his “Backstage Connection Tour,” which kicks off in Brooklyn at the end of July.

The brief round of concerts is as follows:

  • July 23rd @ Bowery Ballroom in Brooklyn, NY
  • July 27th @ Atlanta Stage in Atlanta, GA
  • August 2nd @ Park West Theater in Chicago, IL

Fans who submit an RSVP will be able to attend the summer concerts for free.

A Brief Fabolous Background

Fabolous has gotten steady work in the music industry for over a decade, collaborating with some of the hottest, most credible names in the business: Nate Dogg, Pharell, The Dream, and Young Jeezy, to name a few. His last album, Loso’s Way – which, chances are, will comprise a major portion of his upcoming micro-tour’s setlist – was inspired by even more entertainment names. Brian de Palma’s film Carlito’s Way served as the album’s filmic muse, much in the way Ridley Scott’s American Gangster provided Jay-Z with the “concept” for his concept album of the same name.
