Fall Out Boy Announce Second Leg of Tour

The quartet of pop-punkers are currently in the throes of their spring/summer tour (the band’s first since they’re 2009 hiatus), and have no plans on stopping anytime soon. Fall Out Boy has just announced the second leg of their “Save Rock N’ Roll” tour, which kicks off on September 5 in Uncasville, CT, at Mohegan Sun, and wraps up on September 29 in Tampa, FL, at USF Sun Dome. In between, they’ll hit up the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Honda Center in Anaheim, and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA. Other acts on the first night’s bill include Timeflies, Lights, Streetlight Manifesto, Air Dubai, Andrew W.K., Balance And Composure, Candy Hearts and Coasta. As for the second night, A Day To Remember will headline and will be joined on the bill by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Glassjaw, Rx Bandits, Bayside, Capture The Crown and Cartel.

With a smattering of “secret” club dates leading up to a giant North American tour, Pete Wentz and his fellas hit Pittsburgh’s Stage AE on May 21, Terminal 5 in New York City on May 29, Miami Beach’s Fillmore on June 5, and wrap it all up in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium on June 30.

The new album (their fifth), entitled Save Rock and Roll, hits shelves on May 7. The album’s lead single, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘Em Up),” is already climbing the iTunes charts. This is Fall Out Boy’s first release since their “indefinite hiatus” in 2009. The new album is being released exactly 10 years after the release of their debut, Take This To Your Grave. Fun fact: The Postal Service also sent out their debut (titled Give Up) to our ears in 2003.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now. For the best deals on all Fall Out Boy tickets, keep it locked right here at SeatGeek.
