One nugget that is sparking a ton of rumors is Stevie Nick’s revelation that the band would play a number of European festivals in 2013. Over in the United Kingdom, this has caused speculation that the rock legends will headline Glastonbury.

Original Post

Fleetwood Mac, who have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame back in 1998, will be embarking on a full scale world tour in 2013.

Having last toured in 2009, the band’s lead singer and icon, Stevie Nicks, stated in an interview this week that the band would begin rehearsals in February for a world tour later in the new year.

With Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie together on stage once again, you are probably looking at one of the potentially highest grossing tours in 2013. When the band toured in 2009, the tour grossed over $62 million and was the 14th highest grossing tour of that year, ahead of acts such as Beyonce, Celine Dion, Dave Matthews Band and Rascal Flatts (source: Billboard).

Dates, venues and ticketing information all are TBD as of right now, but as details emerge on the Fleetwood Mac 2013 world tour, we’ll be sure to have them for you.
