The ‘Rumours’ Are True: Fleetwood Mac Expands Tour Yet Again
To say that Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie-assisted reunion tour is going well would be an understatement—McVie is playing with her old band for the first time in nearly two decades, and the crowds have been wild with delight over her return. Fleetwood Mac has already expanded their tour once, and they’re at it again, this time adding 2015 shows in Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Vancouver, BC; Bakersfield, CA; Oakland, CA; Inglewood, CA; and Las Vegas, NV—scoop these up before they, too, sell out. Visit Fleetwood Mac’s website for ticketing information on the tour dates already in progress and for these new ones.
Formed in 1967, the only original Fleetwood Mac member to survive its many lineup changes is drummer (and namesake) Mick Fleetwood—John McVie did not actually start out as an original member (fun fact). Their 1977 album, Rumours sat at the top of the American albums chart for 21 weeks and has sold 45 million copies to date, making it the fourth highest-selling album of all time. The band’s last full-length album, Say You Will, was released in 2003, but we hear they’re working on music now, so keep your fingers crossed for more!
