Florence and the Machine Tour: Prices Finally Drop
Since Florence and the Machine announced their 2011 summer tour in February, there has been a huge demand for their concert tickets. During the past year, the Grammy-nominated indie-pop group built up a loyal following of fans that have been swarming arenas for a chance to see them live.
The great demand for Florence and the Machine tour tickets drove prices up to impressive averages for the month of May. At their peak, seats for Florence concerts were averaging $251, with the next 2 highest daily averages at $241 and $239.
However, as Florence and the Machine head into the last leg of their US tour, ticket prices have finally started to go down:
After a slight peak in mid-June, prices seem to have evened out at an average of just under $100 a ticket. Additionally, SeatGeek has been able to find tickets for as low as $31 for Florence and the Machine’s Indianapolis show. Finally, SeatGeek expects ticket prices for Florence and the Machine’s last four shows (in Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Orlando, and St. Louis) to decrease even further in the coming days.
