Flying Lotus will head out on tour to promote his latest album, "Until the Quiet Comes."

Flying Lotus, or “FlyLo” as he’s often referred to by his fans, has announced a string of fall shows, hitting up some major cities in North America and Europe. The tour begins on September 23 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and ends on November 9 at the Manchester Warehouse Project in Manchester, England.

This tour will be in support of his latest effort, Until the Quiet Comes, the experimental-electronic musician’s fourth album which is slated for release on October 1. Also featured on the 18-track album is appearances by Thom Yorke and Erykah Badu. Besides his utterly unique and original sounds, what makes Flying Lotus extra cool is that (1. He’s the guy producing a lot of the music clips aired during Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and (2. He’s related to musicians Alice and John Coltrane. So I guess his talent runs in the family.
