Brit-rockers Foals have announced a UK tour which will span October 13 to December 11. The tour will be in support of their fourth, currently untitled, upcoming album. Foals kick off the fun in Sheffield at The Harley on October 13, and will hit up cities like Leicester, Gloucester and Bournemouth, before the tour finale on November 11 at Forum in Tunbridge Wells. The five-piece band will be performing fan favorites off their first two EPs, as well as new material sure to titillate the masses.
The music of Foals is often described as indie-rock, with their style pulling influence from math rockers The Redneck Manifesto, and new wave phenomenon The Talking Heads. For their first release, Antidotes, they recruited the production help of Dave Sitek from TV On the Radio, but after being displeased with his final result, the band decided to mix the album themselves. It went on to reach No. 3 on the UK Albums Charts, and achieved Ggld status. Their follow-up album, Total Life Forever, peaked at No. 8 on the UK Album Charts, and number 30 in the US.
Come see this oft buzzed-about band, and hear what they’ve been up to in the recording studio, when they hit the road this fall.
