This spring, California-based indie rock band Foxygen announced that they were almost done with their new studio album, to be called …And Star Power. It’s set to be released on October 14, and Foxygen is hitting the road on a lengthy North American tour to support it. The tour kicked off on July 31 in Seattle, WA at Neumos, and it’s continuing through November in cities like Happy Valley, OR; Big Sur, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Nashville, TN; Brooklyn, NY; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Denver, CO (at Bluebird Theater); Austin, TX (at Fun Fun Fun Fest), and many more. Support for the tour depends on your date but acts include Woods, Steven Gunn, Dub Thompson, Gary Wilson, and Heat. Tickets are on sale now.

Formed by Jonathan Rado and Sam France in 2005 when the duo were still in high school, Foxygen was discovered by famed producer Richard Swift after they thrust their Take The Kids Off Broadway EP into his hands at a show. Foxygen has gained a reputation for its off-the-wall live shows and crazed performances by lead singer France.
