Rapper Freddie Gibbs has announced that he’ll be launching a tour through North America from October through November. Gibbs will kick the tour off in Canada with a show in Montreal on October 24, followed by performances in Ottawa and Toronto. He’ll cross the border into the states to play Underground Arts in Philadelphia on October 28, followed by shows in Boston, Providence and Brooklyn. Gibbs will fly out to Los Angeles to play the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival on November 8. He’ll close out the tour with a set at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest on November 9.

Born Fredrick Tipton and originally from Gary, Indiana, Freddie Gibbs first made a name for himself through the release of numerous mixtapes online featuring a variety of guest appearances from rappers like Young Jeezy, Freeway, and Jadakiss. After moving to LA, Gibbs released his debut full-length album ESGN last year. In March, he released a collaborative album with Madlib entitled Piñata, which earned heaps of critical praise and cracked the top 40 of the US charts. His sophomore album, Eastside Slim, is due out later this year.
