Looking for a way to listen to your favorite bands and still give back to the community? Well, so is the band fun. They’ve announced plans for the Alternative Break Tour, giving their fans the chance to work with local non-profits and communities before fun. concerts. From October 5 to 9, a crew of volunteers will spend a week on the road with PFLAG, fun., and The Ally Coalition in New Orleans, Houston, and Atlanta. This five-day, four-night immersion gives volunteers a chance to not only see fun. on stage, but to also see what life is like on the road.
The Alternative Break Tour Includes:
- Travel on a tour bus
- All meals from lunch on October 5 to breakfast on October 9
- Concert outreach opportunities with The Ally Coalition and general admission to three (yes, three) fun. shows
- Volunteer opportunities in all three cities and all service supplies
Volunteers have to provide their own travel arrangements to and from, but this is a super cool way to not only see a band you love, but do better for the world. Doesn’t that sound, well, fun?
