Morrison, Colorado Residents Don’t Have To Go Far To See Furthur
Furthur Tour
Red Rocks Amphitheatre—king of jam band venues, it seems—is once again about to start jamming! Furthur is playing a series of shows this fall on September 19, 20, 21 & 22, and well, it’s going to be a grand ole time. Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, and their band will play all the Grateful Dead’s greatest hits, along with a few others from the duo themselves. With four dates to choose from, you have four chances to embrace the tie-dye and the peace signs and head out for an evening in the rocks in Morrison, CO. Need tickets? SeatGeek can certainly help.

For those who don’t know, a show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre is pretty freakin’ cool. The theatre itself (located near Morrison, CO) is created from an actual rock structure—running low on the man-made here, folks. There’s a large, disc-shaped rocks behind the stage, a giant vertical rock stage right, outcrops of rocks at stage left, and seating for about 9,500 people (give or take) in the middle. All of these rocks and the open Colorado sky make for some completely funky (and awesome) acoustics.
