Matt Nathanson & Gavin DeGraw Tour

Plenty of concert tours have been announced for this summer, but not many in the singer-songwriter realm. If you’re a fan of the genre, you’re in luck: Gavin DeGraw and Matt Nathanson have just released plans to co-headling a series of shows this summer. The two-month tour kicks off on June 13 at Tucson, AZ’s Anselmo Valencia Amphitheater, and continues through Las Vegas, NV; San Diego, CA; Kansas City, MO; Fargo, ND; and more, before culminating in a show at Provident Bank Park in Pomona, NY on August 25. Supporters for the tour include Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate frontman Andrew McMahon and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis collaborator Mary Lambert. Tickets for some dates are on sale now.

Matt Nathanson’s music is a blend of rock and folk, and he is a master of the acoustic, electric, and 12-string guitar. Though he’s put out eight albums since the early nineties, his biggest hit came in 2007 with “Come On, Get Higher”, which sold 1.8 million singles. Gavin DeGraw hit it big when his single “I Don’t Want to Be” became the theme song for television teen drama One Tree Hill, which debuted in 2003. His debut album, Chariot, went onto sell over a million copies (certified platinum) due to the strength of the single.
