I Am Giant’s New Album, On Tour This Summer
I Am Giant hits fans with a double whammy: they’ve got a new album and they’re heading out on tour. The group formed back in 2008 and is originally from New Zealand, but is currently based in London. A few years after coming together, they released their first album The Horrifying Truth to rave reviews in Australia and New Zealand, and later worldwide. This summer’s tour will be in support of their newest, third album Science and Survival and right now will cover select European spots and will include several shows across New Zealand and Australia.
Kicking off on June 14, the group will play in Berlin at the Hard Rock Café, before a show the next day in Warsaw, Poland at the Orange Warsaw Festival on June 15. Mid-July will find the group touring throughout their native land and Australia with stops across the country including Christchurch at The Bedford CPSA, Dunedin at Refuel, and Tauranga at Brewers Bar on July 31. One week in August will bring the band to Australia. Starting August 6, I Am Giant will play in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney at Spectrum on August 9.
