Greek Theatre Concerts

The Greek Theatre, located at Griffith Park in the city of Los Angeles, has been open since 1929, serving the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and southern California with outdoor summer entertainment with concerts from a wide spectrum of musical genres and styles.

As for major contemporary bands and artists, here is a look at the some of the acts that have played the venue the most over the years: Santana has played the Greek Theatre a total of 31 times; Neil Diamond a total of 24 times; Allman Brothers Band a total of 13 times and Neil Young 11 times. The White Stripes, The Black Crowes and the Counting Crows have all played there several times as well.

This summer, the concert schedule at the Greek Theatre will include the following shows: Barry Manilow from June 14 through June 16; LL Cool J on July 7; The National on August 7; Heart on August 22 and August 23; fun. on September 4 and Carly Rae Jepsen on September 15.
