Guster Gets Together With NYC Family This Thanksgiving
Will you be sick of your own family this Thanksgiving? Well, you could always hang out with Guster: this Thanksgiving weekend in New York City, the band will be holding what they’re calling a “Family Reunion,” performing two of their classic albums to Brooklyn and Manhattan audiences. Two-thousand-and-three’s Keep It Together will be performed at the Beacon Theatre on November 30 (followed by a second set of whatever the band wants to play), and on December 1, Guster will perform 1995’s Parachute at Brooklyn Bowl. Opening for the band on November 30 will be Ben Kweller. Wanna go? Tickets go on sale Friday, September 13 at 9:00am ET.
Guster has certainly been around a long time: they were formed in 1991 in Boston, MA. Known for their live shows, the band’s first commercial success came with 1999’s Lost and Gone Forever, with single “Fa Fa” making it onto the Adult Top 40 chart.
