Head for the Hills Tour

Head for the Hills, a modern-acoustic band hailing from Colorado, have just set off on their winter tour. They kicked things off last week in their hometown of Fort Collins, CO, at Aggie Theatre, followed by a stint at the WinterWonderGrass Festival, which also features the musical stylings of Greensky Bluegrass and The Infamous Stringdusters. The band will make a stop in Canada on February 23, performing at Folk Alliance International in Toronto, Ontario. They’ll make more stops on the festival circuit on May 5, with a performance at Ramona Bluegrass & Old West Festival in Ramona, CA, before wrapping things up at the RockyGrass festy in Lyons, CO, on July 26.

Since their formation in 2007, Head for the Hills (also known as H4TH) have gone from small Colorado quartet into a well known and well respected acoustic band. Credited for their innovate sound and style, they’ve performed and crossed passed with artists like The Avett Brothers, Emmy-Lou Harris and My Morning Jacket, as well as played slots at Wakarusa Music Festival and High Sierra Music Festival.
