How to Save Money on Jingle Ball Tickets
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not the holiday season, but iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour! With performances from Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and more (at select dates), this heavy-hitting lineup may also come with a heavy-hitting price tag. But you don’t need to blow all your Christmas present money on a ticket. Check out SeatGeek’s top five tips to help get the best bang for your buck when shopping for the Jingle Ball tour.
Tip 1: Waiting to Buy Can Pay Off
Based on last year’s data, waiting until the week of the show can often save a fan money when buying tickets. While it’s not a guarantee that prices will drop, sellers with remaining inventory often get nervous as the event nears, and will lower the asking price of their tickets. Be sure to track the event on SeatGeek to see how prices are moving.
Tip 2: Understand the Value of Jingle Ball
While tickets to some of the Jingle Ball shows may seem higher than your typical concert, keep in mind that most of those shows have seven or eight performers who have major hits. It would cost significantly more to see all these performers individually, which is one of the reasons attending Jingle Ball is such an attractive option.

Tip 3: Make a Short Roadtrip
While this isn’t possible for all the Jingle Ball shows, some fans may be smart to look at tickets to other nearby performances. Fans in New York, for example, can find much less expensive tickets in Philadelphia and Boston. The same goes for the show in Washington, DC, which is currently more expensive than the show in Philadelphia.
Tip 4: Look for the Best Deal
Tickets to a Jingle Ball show may make for the perfect early holiday gift, and if you want to give your friend or family member the best experience it makes sense to look into more than just the price of the tickets. Often times, seats that are just slightly more expensive may have a far better view. Using a tool like SeatGeek’s Deal Score will help you find the seats with the best value.
Tip 5: Check out Seats Behind the Stage
At some of the bigger Jingle Ball shows you can often find seats that are behind the stage for much less than any other spots in the building. While this may not seem like a very glamorous option, the sound will be just as good (the speakers get set up behind the stage as well as in front) and you’ll get a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective of your favorite artists. Plus, you’ll still be surrounded by tons of your fellow fans.
