Danish punk rockers Ice Age have just released a new song, “The Lord’s Favorite” (which you listen to below) and also revealed the details of a North American tour for this fall. The guys will kick things off on October 10 at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia. From there, they’ll make their way North, hitting major spots in the Northeast, including New York and Boston, and eventually cross the border into Canada to play Montreal, and then Ottawa and Toronto. They’ll cross back over into the states on October 21 to play Detroit, followed by series of shows in the Midwest. They’ll play the Elbo Room in San Francisco on October 31 and then make their way down the West Coast, playing LA for two nights on November 1 and 2 and then San Diego on November 3. After that it’s a couple shows in Arizona and New Mexico and then they’ll finish up at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin at November 8.

Coming out of the Copenhagen DIY scene, Iceage is known for their messy hardcore punk sound and existential lyrics, along with their notorious raucous live shows. Their 2011 debut album, New Brigade, gained them attention with hardcore fans everywhere, but 2013’s You’re Nothing (the band’s first record on a major label) earned them praise from critics and a larger fanbase.
