Iration & Rebelution Tour

SoCal-based reggae band Iration is glad to announce plans to tour this summer with Rebelution on their ‘Count Me In’ summer tour. This is in support of their third album, Automatic, released last summer. The non-festival tour dates will kick off on June 12 in Boston, MA at the House of Blues, then continue through Asbury Park, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Baltimore, MD; Glen Allen, VA; Myrtle Beach, SC; Portsmouth, VA; St. Petersburg, FL; and many more. The tour ends with a festival date, playing at the Reggae on the Rocks Festival in Morrison, CO on August 23. Also joining the bands on the tour are The Green, Stick Figure, and DJ Mackle. Hailing from Hawaii and based now in Santa Barbara, CA, Iration got their start at UC Santa Barbara, playing reggae covers in nearby college towns. Their first full-length release, No Time for Rest, topped the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart in 2007. Their latest album, Automatic, once again topped the Billboard charts, selling 8,000 copies in its first week. In April of 2013, lead singer Kai Rediske left the group to “pursue other interests”. The band has said that they will press on in the wake of his departure.
