Fresh off of a stint touring with Drake this past January, J Cole is embarking on his own headlining tour to promote his new album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. The Campus Consciousness Spring 2012/Sideline Story Tour is more than just a chance for college students to see J Cole live in concert, however. The Campus Consciousness Tour (sponsored by Reverb) promotes environmental awareness and provides musicians and their fans the opportunity to participate in “eco-friendly initiatives” as well as register to vote.

Cole, who graduated from St. John’s University in New York magna cum laude, seemed excited at the prospect of using his music to reach college students all over the country. “My music gives me a platform to reach a lot of young people,” J.Cole told AllHipHop.com. “I’m happy to be partnering with Reverb to engage my fans and hope they’ll get on board with these positive environmental messages.” Tickets are already on sale, don’t miss the chance to enjoy good music and change the world a little.
