The self-proclaimed King of R&B is taking a tour of his domain over the next few months. After the release of his proper debut 4275, Jacquees is setting off on a rapid-fire tour of the United States.

The “You” singer will start his trek tomorrow (January 11) in Salt Lake City at The Complex. The king is hoping to shore up his claims in California, with stops in Fresno, Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Diego. After that stint of saturation, Jacquees will spread out and hit Detroit, Cleveland, Houston and Atlanta. His tour will close with a run of East Coast dates, ending at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on March 3.

The singer caught heat when he declared himself king late last year. Plenty of people found the upstart’s claims to be disrespectful. Still, expect his subjects to be out in force at this tour.

“I just want to let everybody know that I’m the king of R&B right now… for this generation,” Jacquees said. “I understand who done came and who done did that and that and that but now it’s my turn.”
