James Blake to Tour North America
Update
In addition to his U.S. tour, James Blake will head to Australia for some upcoming March dates. The first one is on March 19 at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne, followed by a March 22 gig at Verbrugghen Hall in Sydney. His brief time in the country have sparked rumors that he’ll be performing at the Splendour Festival in July. We’ll keep you posted, obvi.

James Blake has extended his tour into the new year, leaving behind his UK comfort-zone to schedule a slew of dates in the U.S. and Canada. The singer’s concert series will see him hitting up both coasts, in addition to three venues in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, respectively. James Blake Concert Tickets 2013

James Blake, an electronic music producer/singer-songwriter, will play three intimate shows in the UK this December, including a gig in his hometown of London. December 3 marks the mini-tour kickoff and takes place in Bristol at Thekla. The following day Blake will play at London’s Conway Hall in what’s sure to be a raucous homecoming. The tour closer will take place on the 6th in Manchester at Gorilla. Besides the UK dates, Blake is appearing at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris which spans November 1-3, and he’ll also play a DJ set at London’s Hydra on November 23.

At only 23 years of age, Blake began recording music in 2009 during his last year at Goldsmiths, University of London where he studied popular music. He used his bedroom as a recording studio, and since 2009 has released a slew of singles and EPs, including 2011’s Fall Creek Boys Choir, which he recorded with Bon Iver. His full-length, self-titled album, was released on the ATLAS record label and peaked at No. 9 on the UK album chart in early 2011.
