James Taylor Tour

Legendary singer/songwriter James Taylor is making some big plans to hit the road come spring and summer. Backed by his “all-star” band, Taylor’s North American tour kicks off at the Moda Center in Portland, OR on May 30, then moves to Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Wichita, KS; Wantagh, NY; Phoenix, AZ; Saratoga Springs, NY; Prairie, TX; Toronto, ON; Concord, CA; and more. The tour’s last date will be a stop on August 5 in Alpharetta, GA. James Vernon Taylor achieved his breakthrough in 1970 with the single “Fire and Rain”, which went to No. 3 on the charts. The following year, his recording of Carole King’s classic “You’ve Got a Friend” hit the top spot, helping to secure his place on the music scene. Taylor is also a five-time Grammy Award winner, as well as a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. His 1976 Greatest Hits album is certified diamond (more than ten million sold), selling 12 million copies in the United States.
