Jason Mraz Announces West Coast Acoustic Tour
Jason Mraz Acoustic Tour
Fedora-ed singer and songwriter Jason Mraz has just released plans for an low-key, nine-stop tour this March. Taking place solely on the West Coast (sorry for you on Eastern Standard Time), Mraz will start his tour on March 15 in Santa Cruz, CA at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, then move to Rohnert Park, CA; Sacramento, CA; San Luis Obispo, CA; Fresno, CA; Riverside, CA; Eugene, OR; Chico, CA; and Redding, CA. On these intimate dates, the singer (and his bff Toca Rivera) are sure to play his hits, along with (hopefully) a couple of new tunes from his upcoming album. Raining Jane will lend support over this two-week stint. Tickets are on sale now.

Jason Mraz made his mark on the music scene with his 2002 debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, and its first single, “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)”, but it wasn’t until his 2005 follow-up, Mr. A-Z, did Mraz achieve commercial success (the album peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard charts). Though his last album, Love is a Four Letter Word, was released in 2009, Mraz has been collaborating with a number of artists in recent years, including country superstars Zac Brown Band and Hunter Hayes.
