So far, 2019 is proving to be a year where bands either celebrate their longevity or come back around for the first time in a while. While Alabama and the Steve Miller Band are all hitting the road to toast the fact that they’ve made it past the half-century mark, acts like DC post-hardcore innovators Jawbox are reforming for their first string of dates in a decade.

The outfit made up of J. Robbins, Bill Barbot, Kim Coletta, and Zach Barocas are reuniting for the first time since the group came back together for a special performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2009. That one-off hardly counts as a reunion, since fans didn’t get a chance to shout along.

This proper reunion starts off on June 14 in Cambridge, MA at the Sinclair before heading down the Eastern Seaboard for several shows. The band will take a week off before jumping to the West Coast for gigs in Seattle and Portland, before heading through California with stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The tour comes to a close on July 27 at the Metro in Chicago.

Tickets go on sale January 17; take a look at the reunion tour dates below.
