Ian Anderson, the brains (and flute) behind prog-rock group Jethro Tull, has announced a fall tour. The “Jethro Tull Rock Opera” will take place this November, over an 11-day stretch at the beginning of the month. The opera will be based off the English agricultural inventor Jethro Tull, whom the band is named after.

The tour kicks off on November 1 in Chicago, IL, at the Chicago Theatre. From there it’s off to Detroit (it’s up-and-coming, I swear!), Boston, Brooklyn, Philly and the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. On November 10, Anderson will perform at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (about an hour outside of the city), before wrapping things up in Newark, NJ, on the 11th. Tickets are on sale now.
