Following the drama that prevented her from taking the stage at the Def Jam 30th anniversary shindig at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and some cryptic back-and-forth on Twitter, Neo soul songstress Jhené Aiko has just announced that she’ll be hitting the road with SZA and The Internet. The only date for what’s being called the Enter the Void tour that’s been officially announced is the show kicking the whole thing off. “The Worst” singer and friends will take over Club Nokia in LA on December 12. That’s all for now, but additional dates and details are expected soon. You can bet that we’ll keep in the loop in regards to any updates.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Jhené Aiko’s musical career began when she was still a teenager and contributed vocals for the hip-hop group B2K (Sony and Epic Records even attempted to spread the rumor that she was rapper Lil’ Fizz’s cousin as a marketing ploy). Aiko was set to release a solo album at the age of 15, but the planned release faltered and she went back to a normal life. She returned to music in 2011, when was in her twenties, with the digital self-release of her mixtape Sailing Souls(s). She signed with Def Jam imprint Atrium in 2012, releasing an EP, Sail Out, in 2013, and, just this September, dropped her first album Souled Out, which reached number 3 on the US pop charts.
