Don’t Stop Tourin’! Journey Unveils 2012 Tour Dates

Journey have had to alter plans to their current tour of the United States due to doctor’s orders placed on lead singer Arnel Pineda. According to Pollstar, the singer has been diagnosed with severe laryngeal and esophageal inflammation and has been direcetd to refrain from performing during the next few days.
As a result of the news, a few tour dates have had to be rescheduled. There is no news as to when they will be actually be put back on the calendar, but the shows affected are tonight in Evansville (IN), November 10 in Grand Rapids (MI), November 11 in Fort Wayne (IN), November 13 in Moline (IL) and November 14 in Sioux City (IA).

One of America’s favorite bands and the power behind hits such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” and “Any Way You Want It” is hitting the road in late summer across the country. Journey, a band that has sold over 80 million albums worldwide and has eighteen Top 40 singles, is slated to kick off a tour with Pat Benatar and other supporting acts on July 21 in California.
The tour is visiting cities such as Cheyenne, Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Louisville, Dallas, Kansas City, Saint Paul, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Tampa before wrapping up on October 13 in West Palm Beach.
