Bieber Heads to Europe, Will Perform at London’s 02 Arena
When I say “Justin” you say “Bieber:” JUSTIN (BIEBER)! JUSTIN (BIEBER)! Woo, that felt good! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, Justin Bieber is currently making his way through the U.S. for his Believe tour – joined by Carly Rae Jepsen and Cody Simpson – and has been performing throughout the South these last few weeks. On February 17, he’ll make his first stop across the pond with a show at The 02 in Dublin. Exciting news for the Europeans! Even more exciting, on March 4, he will be playing at the 02 Arena in London, which is essentially the Madison Square Garden of the UK. Opened in 2007, the 02 Arena has become an icon of London music culture and is one of the busiest concert venues in the United Kingdom. For any large artist, like Robbie Williams last year, stopping at the London O2 Arena is the mark of a successful tour. The concert capacity is up to 20,000 for music, sports and film events, and is the second largest arena in the UK after the one in Manchester. Construction on the space took four years and cost £750 million.
