Country songstress Kacey Musgraves will be hitting the road this fall, in a tour that she’s calling “Same Tour, Different Trailer” (a nod to her 2013 Grammy-winning album Same Trailer Different Park). Musgraves (who’s currently opening for Katy Perry) will kick the tour off at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa on September 25. From there, it’s on to shows in Missouri and Chicago, followed by a couple performances in Texas. She’ll play the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge on October 3 and then head on to show in Birmingham, AL, Athens, GA, and Asheville, NC. She’ll close out the tour at Trustees Theater in Savannah on October 19.

Although she been releasing music (mostly on her own) 2002 and even appeared on the competitive singing show Nashville Star in 2007, Kacey Musgraves didn’t gain widespread attention until last’s years Same Trailer Different Park, which earned the Grammys for Best Country Album and Best Country Song, as well the Country Music Association Award for Best New Act. It’s since sold close to nearly half-a-million copies.
