Kathy Griffin Announces Stand-Up Dates for Fall and Winter
Self-proclaimed “D-list” comedienne Kathy Griffin has just revealed that she’ll be hitting the road starting this month and be performing all the way into next year. The Bravo channel star will kick the tour off at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC on October 24, followed by a show at the Kroger Center in Columbia, SC, on October 25. She’ll then take the month of November off, but return to the stage on December 12 at the Silver Legacy Resort in Reno. After that, she’ll head on to California to play shows in Redwood City on December 13 and Pala on January 10. Griffin will play the Sound Board at MotorCity Casino in Detroit on January 22 and move on to a series of shows through the Midwest, before eventually dipping into the South to perform in Biloxi Mississippi on January 30. She’ll play a show in Englewood, NJ on February 13 and then tour through the Northeast, duking for a show in Texas on March 7, but coming back for a run through New England and a show at the Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City. Griffin will finish out the season with a two-night stint at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, AZ on March 20 and 21.
Influenced in style by comedy legends like Joan Rivers and Don Rickles, Kathy Griffin came up through the LA comedy scene and earned NUMEROUS small acting credits throughout the 90s (including a line in Pulp Fiction), but rose to mainstream fame with her Bravo reality shows My Life on the D-List, in the mid 2000s. She’s since released an abundant number of comedy albums and stand up specials, has became a bestselling author with her autobiography, and was the first woman comedian to debut at the number one spot for Billboard comedy album charts.
