Kendrick Lamar doesn’t have much on the horizon for 2020, but the few peeps we’ve heard out of the era-defining rapper have been promising. He’ll play at least one venerable European stage in the middle of the summer, leading fans to speculate that we might hear the first new music from K. Dot since 2018’s Black Panther soundtrack.

Though Lamar hasn’t released a proper studio album since 2017’s DAMN, the headlining slot points toward the possibility of new music in the near future. He hasn’t shared any other dates, and playing Roskilde is in line with his recent modus operandi: playing the occasional set at a top-line festival. In 2019, he played Lolla Brazil, Day N Vegas, and Estereo Picnic. He hasn’t been on a proper tour since the Top Dawg-highlighting Championship Tour in 2018. On that tour, which also featured sets from SZA, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock, Lamar played stages from Texas’ Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on up to Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.

Take a look at what we know about Lamar’s 2020 tour so far below.

Kendrick Lamar Tour Dates

So far, Kendrick Lamar only has one announced date in all of 2020. The rapper will play the 50th anniversary of the Roskilde festival in Denmark, appearing during that storied fest on July 2 alongside Tyler, The Creator and FKA Twigs. Roskilde runs from June 27-July 4.
