Kip Moore Keeps That Hat On The Road
Does Kip Moore ever stop? He’s just wrapped up his 2014 touring, and he’s now made plans for 2015, adding a slew of headlining North American dates to his already busy festival schedule. With hardly a month off, Moore will play his first show of the New Year at the Adams Event Center in Missoula, MT on January 27. From Montana, Moore will visit Kennewick, WA; Portland, OR; Vancouver, BC; Edmonton, AB; Calgary, AB; Saskatoon, SK; Clear Lake, IA; Madison, WI (at Orpheum Theater); Tallahassee, FL (at The Moon); and Birmingham, AL. Moore’s festival gigs include sets at Stagecoach in Indio, CA, in April; Bayou County Superfest, in Baton Rouge, LA, in May; and Country Jam USA in Eau Claire, WI, in July. Tickets for all headlining dates are on sale now—for more information about festival ticketing, visit that festival’s respective website.
Fun fact: before Moore got his country music start on MCA Nashville, he spent four years managing an Abercrombie & Fitch in Nashville proper. His first single, “Mary Was The Marrying Kind,” wasn’t the hit he had hoped for, but his second single, “Something’ ‘Bout A Truck,” struck country music gold. It went to No. 1 on the Billboard country charts, with “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl” not far behind.
