More exciting news for those of you who are into everything Vile. Kurt Vile and his merry band of Violators have decided to tack even more tour dates onto their previously announced itinerary. That means, in addition to the band’s upcoming May shows, they’ll be performing a whole slew of North American gigs from June-August. Rock on.

For specifics, we’ve included a full, comprehensive chart of the group’s course of action below. In brief: Kurt Vile plans to followup Coachella this weekend with a few more North American shows in early May, which themselves will be followed by a host of European performances later in the month. The group will touch back down on this side of the Atlantic come late June, at which point it’s all North America, all the time – at least all the time until August 9, the date of Kurt Vile’s final performance. Previous News: Kurt Vile Tour

In support of his new album, Wakin on a Pretty Daze, musician Kurt Vile will embark on a North American tour as well as some additional European dates. Vile and his Violators will kick off the shows on February 12, with a two-night run in NYC, after which they’ll fly out to California for some Coachella action. You can also catch the indie rockers in Chicago on May 14 at Lincoln Hall, as well as The Sinclair in Boston, MA, on May 17. The tour wraps up with a gig in Philly at Union Transfer on May 18.

Besides the North American dates, Kurt Vile & the Violators will also head to Barcelona for a stint at the Primavera Sound Festival, which everybody is losing their minds over (the lineup is pretty amazing). While across the pond, they’ve scheduled shows in London, Brussels and Amsterdam, as well as a show at Knust in Hamburg on May 28. Joining the band on the road will be The Fresh & Onlys, Steve Gunn, and Angel Olsen for varying dates.
