Kvelertak Announces Dates for Spring Tour
Kvelertak, the heavy metal band hailing from Norway, has announced a string of North American tour dates slated for the spring. The tour sees the band – whose name translates to “stranglehold” or “chokehold” – throughout the Midwest, South and East Coast, including a couple stops in Canada. It kicks off on April 21 in Chicago, IL, at the Bottom Lounge, followed by a two-night stint in Ohio, first in Cleveland at The Grog Shop and then at Ace of Cups in Columbus. On May 17, the five-piece rockers will make their way to New York City when they perform at Webster Hall, followed by a stop in Philly at Underground Arts. The tour wraps up with a show in Toronto, ON, at The Wreck Room on May 22. Supporting Kvelertak on the tour will be Black Tusk and Cancer Bats for varying dates.
Kvelertak will be touring in support of their upcoming album, Meir, which is due out on March 25 via Sony Music Scandinavia records.
