Lana Del Rey Tour

Sultry songstress Lana Del Rey had only planned a few shows this spring, but it seems she’s added a heck of a lot more cities to her North American roster. She’ll stop in Las Vegas on April 11 and at Coachella on April 13 (and 20), and then move through Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Wallingford, CT; Boston, MA; Columbia, MD; Philadelphia, PA; Miami, FL; and Vancouver, BC; to name a few, with a final stop on May 27 at Seattle’s WaMu Theater. What a way to kick off the summer(time sadness, obvi). Tickets for the shows will go on sale at various times on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.

Born in New York City and raised in Lake Placid, NY, Elizabeth Woolridge Grant (that’s Lana’s real name) signed her first recording contract in 2007 with 5 Points Records. Her first digital album, Lana Del Rey, was released in January 2010, and this led to a joint contract with Interscope, Polydor, and Stranger Records in 2011. Del Rey’s music is defined by a cinematic sound and numerous pop culture references, especially that of 1950s and 1960s nostalgia. She received her first Grammy nominations in 2013, grabbing a nod for Best Pop Vocal Album for Paradise and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Young and Beautiful.”
