UPDATE: Jimmy Fallon

JT’s schedule is getting busier and busier. Announced today, the singer/actor/entertainer extraordinaire will be visiting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for one full week from March 11 through March 15. Plans are for him to perform every night with interviews taking place on the Monday and Friday of that week. One can speculate that a new edition of the History of Rap may be in the works as well (check out a video below).

The stint with Fallon will come two days after he is the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 9. You can check out a video below of the classic SNL digital short “D*** In a Box” with Timberlake and Andy Samberg.

Tick off another homerun performance for comeback kid JT. The singer killed it at his recent BRIT Awards appearance, in which he commanded the stage in a very shiny suit to a very enthusiastic audience. Check out the anthemic rendition of his new single, “Mirrors,” below:

UPDATE: Wireless Festival

The Wireless Festival is moving to Olympic Park in London this year and is setting the stage for one of the hottest names in music on the bill. Justin Timberlake, currently setting radio on fire with his comeback single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z, will be on the bill for the festival, set to take place on July 12 and July 13.

An interesting wrinkle is that JT will be on the bill for July 12 and Jay-Z will be on the bill for July 13. Something tells me though that it is not a stretch of the imagination that they may appear on the stage together somehow.

Also included on the bill are Kendrick Lamar, Emeli Sande, Snoop Dogg and Frank Ocean among others. Tickets for the festival will go on sale to the general public this coming Friday, February 22.

UPDATE: London

The news keeps coming for fans of Justin Timberlake. Now fans across the pond in London have something to look forward to! JT announced a surprise show in London, set to take place at The Forum in Kentish Town the night of the Brit Awards on February 20. Similar to how he performed at the Hollywood Palladium right after the Grammys (where as we all know he performed with Jay-Z), he will perform the show for fans after he performs at the award show. It is said that Timberlake’s set time will start at 11:00.

The Brit Awards are set to take place at the O2 Arena in London.

Tickets for the show go on sale via his website tomorrow, February 15.

The official video for Justin’s new single, “Suit & Tie,” has just been released, and it’s everything you could expect from a Timberlake-David Fincher (the director of The Social Network) collaboration: very clean, very pretty, very sleek (that all goes for JT’s hair, too). Check out Justin & Jay as they make like the Rat Pack, and smoke and ogle and entertain like the born showmen they are:

UPDATE: Tour w/ Jay-Z

JT and Jay-Z are not just teaming up for the former’s new single “Suit & Tie.” It looks like the two heavyweights are heading out on a summer tour this year. In a scoop by the New York Post, the two may be heading out on a 10 city tour this summer.

According to Pollstar, Rolling Stone Magazine also has heard the rumors, reporting that “while talks are still ongoing, the tour as currently planned would include 11 to 13 stadium dates.” Timberlake’s official Twitter page actually tweeted over the weekend “big news coming after Justin’s Grammys performance.”

This tour could be huge! Stay tuned here at SeatGeek as the official announcement comes. We’ll have dates, cities and ticketing information for all of you.

In the mean time, check out their Grammy performance with the video below.

Today in the world of Justin Timberlake speculative news, we’ve got yet another musical reveal – and more tour teasing! After his slam-dunk of a Grammys performance last night, JT released the second single off his upcoming 20/20 Experience:Mirrors.

Just before the awards telecast, Timberlake also announced the following to “E! News:” “Absolutely, yeah we’re definitely going to go on tour. We’re still putting it together, but it’s going to be a lot of fun.

“I don’t know how much I should say. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”

All right, we’ll take your word for it! Be sure to check back here in the weeks ahead – tour dates are on their way!

We’re still working toward that tour announcement, but luckily, JT’s making sure his (many) pit stops along the way are events in and of themselves. Timberlake’s latest reveals include The 20/20 Experience’s cover art and full track list!

In other words, enjoy the soon-to-be T-shirt graphic, and upcoming concert setlist, below:

Great news for JT fans! He is performing live and you CAN buy tickets this time!

On February 10, the night of the Grammy Awards, Timberlake will be performing his first 20/20 live show for fans with a gig at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale now (check out the link below for the best deals).

In other news, Timberlake will have a busy night that evening as he is also slated to perform at the Grammy Awards, hopefully throwing down on the new Jay-Z collaboration “Suit & Tie.” JT has also confirmed that he will perform at this year’s BRIT Awards, scheduled for February 20 at London’s O2 Arena. He’s coming back in a big way and we’re all happy to see it.

Justin Timberlake L.A. Tickets

And while we are at, here is a fan clip from Justin’s performance this weekend in New Orleans with Jay-Z …

Yet another Justin Timberlake performance is in the works – although, once again, not one for which his fans can buy tickets. JT will sing his new song, “Suit and Tie,” live at the Grammys on Sunday, February 10.

We’re still holding out for tour news, but a massive televised event can go a long way toward easing the tedium of waiting…

The singer’s silent for years, and now, the musical updates just keep coming. After posting his teaser “I’m Ready” video, the mp3 of his newest single, “Suit and Tie,” and announcing an upcoming concert, Timberlake isn’t finished quite yet: Justin recently released the lyric video for “Suit and Tie,” which includes – in a brief bit toward the end of the song (around 5:20) – his forthcoming album’s title and release date.

The 20/20 Experience is slated to drop March 19. Check out the sneaky reveal below:

The good news is that Justin Timberlake will be returning to a stage in the near future. The bad news is that you can’t buy tickets to the event.

In the news today, Timberlake was revealed to have booked his first concert in years with a live performance as part of DIRECTV’s “Super Saturday Night” on February 2 at SuperFan Stadium in New Orleans over Super Bowl weekend.

According to Pollstar, “You can’t buy tickets because this is a private, invitation-only event to benefit Shriners Hospitals For Children. Timberlake has previously been involved with other benefits for Shriners Hospital over the years.”

A potential tune up for more live shows? Check back with us as any news is announced in the future.

UPDATE 1/14/2013

Here it is, as promised: the first Justin Timberlake single in six years! The singer’s “Suit and Tie” was released late last night, and is now available for download on iTunes.

It’s smooth, sexy (with a hint of Robin Thicke), if not altogether innovative. The song does feature a Jay-Z cameo, though, and portends many more tracks to come – so we’re all right with it! Let us know what you think of Justin’s comeback in the comments below.

Original Post

After whipping fans, writers, and the most harried of the bunch, writer-fans, into an anticipatory frenzy yesterday (1/10), Justin Timberlake didn’t end up releasing that new song about which the world (more or less) had spent the morning speculating after all. The singer with a renown sexy back – and front, and profile, etc. – tweeted what seemed to be a corroborating message (“Thursday, January 10th, 2013 at 9:01 am PST…”) after a Florida DJ misinformed the masses by announcing a new JT release was imminent.

To be fair, Justin did release something. And that something did include music, albeit of the background variety. Basically, the new Mr. Jessica Biel posted a video of himself talking about releasing new material.

Well, all right. At least it didn’t disappoint quite like this.

Justin Timberlake Tour

While Timberlake doesn’t discuss any specifics in his “I’m Ready” video, the posting did include a link to an online clock, which is steadily ticking down the seconds to Sunday at midnight as we speak. Is that when the elusive, unnamed single drops? Perhaps. Or maybe we’ll get an album name? Some cover art? The holy grail of announcements: Tour dates?

Having joined the mailing list, as per the clock’s instructions, I can tell you no further information has been revealed. We do know JT’s been helping out Beyonce in the studio, although whether the fellow sexy-backed star has been kind enough to return the favor remains a question for this coming Sunday (at midnight!) to answer.

As we all twiddle our thumbs while playing out/humming “What Goes Around Comes Around” for the next several days, feel free to amp yourself up by using our past Justin Timberlake setlist as your weekend playlist. We’ll be sure to have updates once the singer releases… anything!
