Lenny Kravitz Set to Strut Across the Globe
Whether you’re a true blue “American Woman” or just like to rock out with one, an iconic and unique rock star has some really good news for you. Lenny Kravitz, slowly raising the hype level week by week as we await the release of his first album in three years, Strut, just dropped the first batch of world tour dates in support of the record. Kravitz, the only man to ever win four straight Grammys in a category (specifically for Best Rock Vocal Performance), once again recorded a wide variety of the instrumentals for this LP, demonstrating his savvy and broad array of talents away from the mic. A lot of younger fans may know more about Lenny’s acting chops thanks to his recurring role in the Hunger Games franchise as Cinna, but this new album and tour could do a lot to show them his roots as a musician.
Kravitz will start the Strut World Tour this fall in Europe, featuring 25 concert dates stretching from Russia to France. He’s begin his international stroll in Moscow on October 22 and proceed west, hitting five cities in Germany during November as well other locations in Poland and Switzerland. The first of his eight tour dates in France will be November 23 in Paris, and he’ll be playing Wembley Arena in London on December 6 before the final concerts of this leg in Lille, France (12/8), Luxembourg (12/9), and Nantes, France (12/11). Stay tuned for further details when Lenny lets us all know where he’ll be strutting his stuff stateside.
