Formed in Los Angeles in 2000, Liars is comprised of vocalist and guitarist Angus Andrew, percussionist and guitarist Aaron Hemphill, and drummer Julian Gross. The band is known for their dramatic stylistic changes between albums, moving from punk to harmonies and sound looping to electronica and back with ease. They’ve released six albums and a whopping 18 EPs and singles from 2001 through the present day, including 2007’s Liars and 2012’s WIXIW, with their seventh album to be released this month.
