Life Is Good, Let’s Throw A Festival
Life is Good Festival 2013
Because sometimes you just need someone to tell you that this life is indeed worth trudging through, the Life is Good Festival will once again take place this summer at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA. On September 21 and 22, headliners Jack Johnson, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Roots, and Yo Gabba Gabba! (for the kiddies, of course) will take the stage for some power-of-positive-energy tunes. Because really, who can stay mad when listening to “Private Eyes?” Other acts to grace the stage include rock band Dawes, folk/soul songwriter Amos Lee, Thao and the Get Down Stay Downs, and Trampled by Turtles. This is a family event, so the kids can also be serenaded by Recess Monkey and Josh and the Jamtones.

Besides the need to throw a super-fun festival (which is good enough for me), the organizers of the Life is Good Festival aim to raise funds for their children’s charity, aptly named the Life is Good Foundation. Great cause, great music — what more could you ask for? Tickets are available at lifeisgood.com/festival, and they’ll set you back $65 for one-day tickets or $120 for both days.
