Vandy’s ‘Lights On the Lawn’ Concert Honors Luke Moretti
Lights On the Lawn Vanderbilt Concert
After suffering a debilitating spinal cord injury while boating last spring, Vanderbilt student Luke Moretti is feeling the love and support of his college community. Members of Moretti’s fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, along with other Greek organizations on campus, have banded together to host a benefit concert in Moretti’s honor. With the goal of seeing their brother back at school next spring, the boys hope to raise the necessary $90,000 in funds to cover Moretti’s rehab equipment.
The Lights on the Lawn Concert is scheduled for next friday, October 19, on Vanderbilt’s Alumni Lawn at 8PM. All proceeds will go toward the Luke Moretti Fund to benefit the Dana and Christopher Reeve Foundation. If you happen to live in the Nashville area, you can find tickets to the event through Ticketmaster here. Or, if you’re like us at SeatGeek and would like to help but lack the means to travel, donations are also accepted through the Team Reeve website here.
