Lily Allen Embarks on North American Tour This Fall
After five years, Lily Allen will be stateside again touring North America in support of her newest album Sheezus. This album and tour marks the end of the Brit rocker’s hiatus that began in 2009 after the release of her second album. Since its May 2 release, Sheezus has received countless reviews, many of which praise the album for great lyrics but also Allen’s embedded social commentary. Prior to the album’s release earlier this month, Allen released two singles “Hard Out Here” and “Air Balloon” so fans know just what to expect on this fall’s tour.
The tour will kick off on September 9 with a stop in Miami before continuing on in the south. Allen fans can catch the singer in Texas at Houston’s and Dallas’s Houses of Blues on September 13 and 15, respectively. Her September 17 show will be the final stop before heading north to play in New York City at Terminal 5 and in Boston at the House of Blues there. Canadian fans: don’t miss her stops in Montreal on September 27, Toronto on September 28, and Vancouver on October 10. Lastly, the West Coast can catch Allen’s final shows in early October in Seattle at the Paramount Ballroom on October 4, as well as Los Angeles’s Hollywood Palladium.
