Lucius Tour

For some bands, it takes years to make a splash in the music industry. And for other bands, like NYC’s Lucius, all it takes is a killer debut album and having your music featured on the show “Grey’s Anatomy.” Since the release of this indie/retro band’s self-titled album, they have toured with the likes of Milo Greene and JD McPherson, plus performing on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Session.” Check out the NPR performance of “Turn It Around” below to hear what all the buzz is about.

Lucius‘ tour kicked off last week in Allston, MA, at Great Scott, followed by performances in Philly and Toledo. The band is currently finishing up their time on the East Coast, performing a show in Hamden, CT, this Friday, as well as a gig in Williamstown, MA, this Saturday. After that, it’s off to Austin for – say it with me now – South By Southwest! The tour wraps up with a gig in Nashville, TN, on March 20, followed by a final show in their hometown of Brooklyn, at the Knitting Factory, on April 5.
