Calling all Head Cases: Machine Head wants your help to ensure their upcoming tour to the country’s “nooks and crannies” is successful. The metal band recently announced the first round of dates and cities for their upcoming “Killers & Kings” tour, which is a primer for their album set to be released in late 2014. The first leg of the tour will focus on hitting up cities and locations not recently or previously visited by the band. When they’ve done this on a smaller scale, the guys of Machine Head found that playing in smaller, more intimate venues allowed them to put on a most robust show; they’re hoping to recreate this magic across the first round of stops on their tour and are encouraging all fans to spread the word.

Starting in mid-May, the tour will kick off in Boone, IA, at the Central Iowa Expo before heading to California where they guys will play in Pomona and Fresno. A few other stops the band will be making include: Billings, MT for a show at The Carlin, a show at The Venue in Fargo, ND, and Little Rock, AR, at Juanita’s on July 23. Songs from album, which fans will inevitably hear on the tour, include: “Killers & Kings,” “Beneath the Silt,” “Eyes of the Dead,” “Sail into the Black,” “How We Die” and “Night Of The Long Knives.”
