Update 10/9/15
For the first time ever, Madonna will be performing live in Bangkok. The singer will take her Rebel Heart tour to Thailand’s capitol, with a two-night run on February 9 and 10th. Initially, only one date was announced, but a second was added after it sold out in under an hour. Thai media is billing the show as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” that will allegedly make history in Thailand.

Besides overseas ventures, Madonna recently talked with Rolling Stone about her experiences with Rebel Heart tour thus far: “I want to take people on a journey. I like to explore themes. I believe that if you’re going to a big venue like a sports arena or a stadium you need to present a kind of entertainment that interfaces with all of the senses. I don’t think it’s enough to just stand onstage and sing,” she told the magazine.

Update 9/10/15
Madonna has just tacked on another month of shows for the Rebel Heart tour, which kicked off earlier this week in Canada. The new dates will take place throughout the South, including stops in Texas, Nashville and Miami. This new leg will begin on January 6 in Mexico City and wraps up on January 28 in Puerto Rico. Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour is slated for kick-off one week from today in Montreal, Canada. The singer will perform at the Bell Centre for two nights, with Diplo on hand as the opener. So far no official setlist has been revealed, but according to secondary ticket data, prices for the upcoming tour are higher than her previous “MDNA” tour. As if you needed another reason to get stoked about a Madonna concert, it’s just been announced that funny-girl Amy Schumer will act as opener for three dates of the Rebel Heart Tour. Now that’s some girl power! The shows in question include September 16 and 17 at Madison Square Garden, and September 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Updated tour schedule below.

After a titillating performance at this year’s Grammys, (and a less titillating performance at the British Music Awards), it seems Madonna is back in the spotlight. The 56-year-old icon has just announced a 35-city tour in support of her new album, Rebel Heart.
The Rebel Heart Tour will kick off on August 9 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. Madge will also make stops in D.C., NYC, Boston, Philly, Detroit, and more. The second leg of the tour features several stops in Canada, as well as gigs in San Jose, Portland and Las Vegas. The North American leg wraps up on October 27 at the Forum in Los Angeles. The Rebel Heart album will be released on March 9.
