‘Elusive Chanteuse’ Mariah Carey Announces World Tour Dates
The one, the only, the woman with the five-octave range, Mariah Carey, has just announced plans for a new world tour, all in support of her latest release, Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse. So far, Mrs. Nick Cannon has only released the dates for the Asian leg of “The Elusive Chanteuse Show”–the concerts (so far) begin October 6 at the Makuhari Messe Arena in Tokyo and travel through China, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines—but she has assured fans plenty of dates will be scheduled in Europe and North America. Carey also said that she “can’t stop writing songs”, so fans can perhaps expect to hear some new tunes that Carey wrote “the night before.” Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released this past May. For ticketing and further information about tour dates, visit Carey’s website.
