Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler is hitting the road. In support of his ninth solo LP, Down the Road Whenever, the musician is heading out on tour for a 28-date trek of North America. The fun begins on August 16 at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT, followed by stops throughout the East Coast, Midwest and South. After a run through the Pacific Northwest, the final show will conclude with a performance at the Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on September 22.

Joining Knopfler on the road will be a 10-piece band that includes a pianist, whistle and flute player, saxophonist, and a whole lot more. Look out for his new album on November 16. Check below for the full list of stops, plus ticket onsale info.
