Mastodon Tour

The Atlanta-based sludge metal guys from Mastodon have just thrown their hat in the ring for a string of 2014 tour dates. Already on the docket are some late-February shows in Australia, and after that, they hit the United States with dates in Portland, OR (at the Roseland Theater); Oakland, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Columbus, OH; Pittsburgh, PA, and more. Following their U.S. jaunt, Mastodon heads to Europe, playing some shows in France, Germany, and the UK. Support on the tour comes in the way of Gojira and Kvelertak. These tour dates are in promotion of the band’s yet-to-be-named new album (their first since 2011), on which they are still putting the finishing touches (it’s due out later this year). Tickets are available now.

Together, they’ve released five studio albums, a live album and accompanying DVD, and a box set, among others.
