MetLife Stadium Concerts

MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Jets and New York Giants, opened in 2010 to much fanfare. It is the most expensive stadium in the NFL and will be hosting Super Bowl XLVIII, the first time a Super Bowl will be played in the New York City metropolitan area. It will also be the first time a Super Bowl will be played in a non-domed stadium in a cold-weather city.

Since the venue opened, it has also played host to a number of concerts. Fittingly, the first concert ever staged at the stadium was by Jersey native Bon Jovi on May 26, 2010. He performed four shows as part of his The Circle tour. Other shows that inaugural year included The Eagles and U2. In 2012, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played three nights as part of their Wrecking Ball tour.

As for this year, the concert calendar for MetLife Stadium is as follows: Hot 97 Summer Jam on June 2; Taylor Swift on July 13; Bon Jovi on July 24 & 25 and Kenny Chesney on August 10.

Tickets for all concerts as well as all other events at MetLife Stadium this summer can be found right here at SeatGeek.
