Michael Kiwanuka can’t help but make excellent and cinematic soul songs. The singer-songwriter is returning with another slab of psychedelic crooning — dubbed KIWANUKA — on November 1. He just announced an American tour behind that album, coming early next year.

The Kiwanuka tour starts on January 22 at The Observatory in San Diego. A West Coast run follows before Kiwanuka turns east toward a how at Saint Paul’s Palace Theatre. After Kiwanuka successfully crosses the US, he’ll head south from New York’s Webster Hall to play Philadelphia’s Union Transfer and DC’s Lincoln Theater ahead of a close-out show at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse.
